Before school started, I thought I was totally ready for it.
Unfortunately, it didn't turn out to be what I'd expected!

First of all, I almost lost my position as a TA in one of the ESL classes on campus.
It was due to some technicial problems; however, finally it was resolved! (Thank GOD!)

This semester I'm taking "Speech for the Classroom Teacher" from Communication Studies Department as my elective.
There were only 2 international students & 1 guy out of 32 in total! (Actually I was lucky to get into this class as I was the 1st on the waiting list & the instructor only accepted the 1st & the 2nd!)
I knew nobody in that class, but thankfully, my 1st partner, Natacha, was really sweet & nice!
As the semester proceeds, we'll have at least EIGHT oral activities!
I couldn't believe that we actually had the 1st one in the 2nd class! (That almost killed me, but I have to say, it was also A LOT OF FUN!)
I'm not really afraid of speaking in front of others; after all, I was and will be a teacher.
It's my English that killed, is killing, and will kill me! There's no doubt about that!

But that's not the end of my DISASTROUS story...
When I was planning for this schedule, I thought I was so smart to put all my classes on only 2 days of the week, which will give me a 4-day break from Friday all the way to Monday.
After Thursday, I just realized that it was the OPPOSITE of what I wanted in the very beginning!
And because of all the courses I take, I spent around $350 on all my textbooks!
Totally a TRAGEDY!!!

OK...back to something not so VEXing~
For now, I have a feeling that we have a lot more students this year!
This makes the campus really, really crowded!
In fact, the other day, they had to close down the bookstore for a flow control so that they could handle all those customers. Crazy, eh?

As for my long weekend...(The 1st Monday of September is Labor Day, which indicates the end of summer!)
I went to Ranch 99, IKEA & Safeway with Annie, Diana & Iris.
The trip to IKEA was the LONGEST one.
I didn't really need anything; I just wanted to spend the amount on my giftcard.
So, I bought a poster (with a Japanese tree in Sweden) for 99 cents (What a BARGAIN!), a bottle opener & a pot with lid! (I've decided that I'm going to make A LOT OF good soup!)
I also got one FREE item from Bath & Body Works!
After I got home, I got the birthday coupon from ORIGINS! (Hooray!!!)

Anyhow...I have so much to say, but just don't know where to start or where to stop!
I think I'll just keep NAGGING...
